Overview of Power Apps:

Power Apps is a suite of apps, services, and connectors, as well as a data platform, that provides a rapid development environment to build custom apps for business needs.

Using Power Apps, users can quickly build custom business apps that connect to data stored either in the underlying data platform or in various online and on-premises data sources (such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and so on).

 

Overview of the Application:

This Application is about the HRMS module. In this application, we can keep records of employees, Requests for WFH, Holiday records, and Leave management, designation data also in the application, the employee will add data in power apps, and that data will be saved in the Business Central, and the Business central User also able to see that data.

In this application, we have master data on Employees, Departments, Designations, Types of Leaves, and holidays. So whatever data we have added in power apps that data will be visible on business central. Let’s see it with one example of Employees, Departments, Designations, Types of Leaves, and holidays.

Follow the steps below:

Let’s understand how to open this application. Open teams and click on apps and power apps will be visible.

The user needs to click on it and the below screen will be visible. Then the user needs to click on start now.

Then the user needs to click on Madhda family and click on Create.

Now, Click on the attendance management system.

Once the User has opened it then below screen will be visible.

When the user will click on the employee then an employee list page will open as shown below:

By clicking on this plus icon user can add a new employee to the system.

When a user clicks on the plus button then the employee card page will open.

So here we are adding employee data and save this page so all this data will be visible in business central.

Let’s add one employee to the system. And click on the save button.

Once the user clicks on the save button then data will be saved.

In Business Central, this data will be visible in the employee master table as shown below screen.

If the user scrolls to the right side, then all data will be visible.

Now let’s come to power apps and same way check Department’s data. We will add department data in power apps and see this record in Business Central.

When the user clicks on the department then the department list page will open. As shown below screen.

Click on the Plus button and the user will be able to add new data to the system.

The user needs to add data here and click on the save button.

This data will be visible in business central in the department master table as shown below screen.

Now let’s come to power apps and same way check Department’s data. We will add designation data in power apps and see this record in Business Central.

When a user clicks on designation then the Designation list page will open as shown below screen.

When the user clicks on the Plus icon then below screen will be visible.

The user needs to add data here and click on the save button.

This data will be visible in Business Central in the designation master table as shown below screen.

Now let’s come to power apps and same way check Leave’s data. We will add Leave data in power apps and see this record in Business Central.

When a user clicks on Type of Leaves then the Leaves list page will open as shown below screen.

When the user clicks on the Plus icon then below screen will be visible.

The user needs to add data here and click on the save button.

This data will be visible in Business Central in the designation master table as shown below screen.

Now let’s come to power apps and same way check Holiday’s data. We will add Holiday data in power apps and see this record in Business Central.

When a user clicks on Holiday then the Holiday list page will open as shown below screen.

When the user clicks on the Plus icon then below screen will be visible.

The user needs to add data here and click on the save button.

This data will be visible in Business Central in the Holiday master table as shown below screen.
