How to restrict Send To, Print and Preview button on standard report.

 

Hello all,

Today we will talk about how to restrict Send to.., Print and Preview button on a standard report.

  • Is it possible to restrict Send to.., Print and Preview from a standard report in Business Central?
  • You should know that the Send to.., Print and Preview button can’t be hidden. So what we need to do is to report the error after the user clicks Send to.., Print and Preview.
  • We will subscribe function to restrict standard report buttons.

Note: – This function only works for standard report restrictions not for custom report restrictions.

Example:

Here is the example of restrict standard report button:

  • Report : Sales Confirmation(1305)

  • For Send to..
  • Run report ->  click on Send to..   ->  choose option to send report.
  • Result

   

  • For Print
  • Run report ->  click on Print.
  • Result

  • For Preview
  • Run report ->  click on Preview.
  • Result
